80 Mile Beach, Western Australia; sunset and a low tide. There is a phenomenon in the north called "Staircase to the Moon" it only occurs on three nights each month from May to October (winter). That means that for a number of reasons, we may miss it. The effect though is quite like these sunset images where the light over the low tide sand seems to provide a pathway to the sun. Download
